Product Description

The Rosemount 3408 Non-Contacting Radar Level Transmitter features Smart Echo Supervision™ technology and is suitable for level measurement and overfill prevention. Smart diagnostics enable proactive maintenance, and optional Bluetooth® available for wired communication ensures easy configuration. Manual or automatic verification at scheduled intervals can be conducted at any time without process interruptions. Perform proof-testing remotely and in-situ with onboard functionality. NAMUR type tested and third party certified to IEC61508 for use in safety critical applications.​

Rosemount 3408 is soon coming with WirelessHart communication as an option. Wireless technology enables the automation of previously inaccessible locations while eliminating wiring costs.​
